Awesome read

This was a book I was assigned for my Intro to Cultural Geography class and when I bought it I was upset because I hate spending money on things I don't think I need. Little did I know, I was going to love this book. After reading the first chapter I looked forward to the assigned readings and would even read ahead because it kept me so intrigued. The author was able to fit more than enough information in about so many different topics and she did it in a way that didn't seem jumbled or confusing. Each chapter is laid out beautifully and expresses exactly what the title says it is going to be. In a book that covers so many topics one would expect maybe a slight bias, this book has none. Overall I am very pleased with the book and glad I actually read it instead of letting it sit on the shelf like I have done with other textbooks. The book is well worth the money and I definietly recommend it even if you aren't taking a geography course. Last but certainly not least is the fact that the author is an Associate Professor at Oklahoma State University! Go Pokes!!!
