Permission to Grieve

"Experiencing Grief: Rebuilding and Remembering " is the second in the Journeying Through Grief Series by Kenneth C. Haugk. This book picks up where book one left off. However, it is designed to be read after an interval of two or three months has passed since the death of a loved one.
Haugk describes many of the feelings and issues that can surface during this stage of grief. He makes it quite clear that what is being experienced is a normal part of the grieving process.
When a friend from Stephen Ministries introduced me to this book, recently, I found comfort for myself and also found the book to be the perfect resource to pass along to other grieving family members. I appreciated Haugk's assurance that it is okay to continue to have feelings of greief and that Christians can and do grieve.
Kenneth Hauck writes with a heart of compassion and personal experience. "Experiencing Grief" is a beautiful, caring gift to share with those going through the Journey of grief.
